READ FIRST: Information about Intensive TA

South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion is soliciting requests from preschool inclusion leadership teams interested in receiving comprehensive support to build capacity to improve the team’s collaborative planning process, as well as outcomes for inclusive opportunities for preschool children with IEPs. Through this solicitation process, South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion staff and community partners will collaborate with one local team for a year to support concrete, practical, and tangible services and supports that will have an impact on increasing inclusive opportunities and school readiness for preschool children with IEPs.
 Features
· South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion will provide ongoing, wrap-around, intensive support to improve the team’s capacity to:
      o   Strategically plan and function as a unit
      o   Meaningfully engage stakeholders in the planning process
      o   Prioritize and take action on PATH plans
      o   Increase inclusive opportunities and school readiness for
           preschool children with IEPs
· Staff from South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion will attend all team meetings
· Training, technical assistance, and provision of resources tailored to meet goals set forth in team’s PATH plan will be provided
· Rubrics, professional development, and workshops will be utilized to support the team’s identified needs
Eligibility
· To be eligible for direct support assistance through South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion, the requesting entity must have attended a District Leadership Day event and must have an existing PATH plan.
· The team selected for assistance must have a follow-up consultation with South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion.
· The assistance provided through South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion must align with the goals and activities outlined by the leadership teams on their strategic PATH plan.
· School districts and partners who previously received Intensive Support technical assistance through South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion are ineligible to apply. Those school districts are eligible to request/receive Targeted TA.
· A copy of the applying team’s most recent PATH plan must be included with the application submission.
Collaboration/Reporting Requirements
If selected, your leadership team will be responsible for the following:
· Timely communication. Please note that South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion will not make more than two outreach attempts to follow-up. If your team does not respond to our staff outreach efforts, you will no longer receive this level of assistance.
· Development and submission of an Impact and Outcome Summary completed by the team, to illustrate the impact of the program activities on participants and team goals.
Application Process

In evaluating each application, South Carolina Partnerships for Inclusion will consider the following information:
·       Thoroughness and thoughtfulness of answers.
·       Direct connection to PATH goals
·       Ability for proposed training and technical assistance to in  
        crease inclusive opportunities and school readiness for
        preschool children with IEPs
·       Connection with evidenced-based and best practices literature
        in preschool inclusion
