OUTSTANDING RESEARCH PARK AWARD NOMINATION
The Outstanding Research Park Award recognizes research parks, science parks or innovation districts which have created an exceptional ecosystem which supports bringing technology from inception to market thereby positively impacting the sustainable growth of scalable businesses, creation of jobs which are higher paying than the regional average, and contribute to the economic health of the region in which they are located. These entities actively participate in their associated higher education community by contributing to research funding, faculty engagement and experiential learning opportunities for students. Successful candidates will also make a significant contribution to the region by supporting a robust environment for innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization activities.
Nominations will be accepted up to Monday, August 31, 2020, so please be sure to submit your application on or before that date. *Individuals should contact AURP for additional submissions*
All of this year's AURP Award Winners will be honored at the new Digital AURP 2020 International Conference.
This is your chance to nominate the very best in our profession by nominating a research park which represents the finest example of best practices in our profession.
AURP members may submit any number of nominations for this award, and may also be their own park, so don't be shy! Please be aware that individuals and parks may be nominated for a maximum of TWO awards categories; however, a park or individual will only be awarded in ONE category. Each submission must be for one award only.
Nominees must have been an AURP member since September 2019.
Each item on the nomination form will be ranked by a point system.
Decisions of the Awards Committee are final, and all scores are confidential and undisclosed. The Awards Committee reserves the right to decide which awards will be given each year, and not all awards will be given every year.
