SWSG champions the aspirations and potential of girls from under-resourced communities through innovative mentorship programming. Our program engages three generations of women and girls in the Pittsburgh region to create a diverse pipeline of strong female leadership. This year, thanks in large part to our devoted local supporters, we delivered high-quality mentorship programming to more than 700 elementary school girls, 220 college women, and 100 professional women.

Every year, we celebrate our mission of empowering women and girls to dream and do at the SWSG Strong Awards Breakfast. It’s a chance for us to honor exceptional members of our community by presenting Strong Awards to four women and girls based on their commitment to overcoming barriers and serving as a positive influence for others.

The honorees will be recognized at a special awards breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Downtown Pittsburgh on August 17, 2018.

Strong Nominees for the STRONG Award are women and girls who reside in the greater Pittsburgh region and embody the values of our organization. Awards will be presented in four categories: Professional, Young Professional, College, and Youth as outlined on the following page(s). You may nominate in as many categories as you like (the same individual may not me nominated in more than one category).
