WICT Greater Philadelphia chapter is pleased to offer our valued members the opportunity to apply for one of two Chapter Scholarships to the National WICT Leadership Conference in New York City, October 15-16, 2018.
The WICT Leadership Conference is the preeminent leadership and professional development opportunity for cable professionals at all levels of their career journeys. The recipients of the WICT Greater Philadelphia scholarships are selected based on the candidates’ ability to demonstrate how the WLC will help them gain new leadership skills and enhance their skills/expertise.

The application deadline is Friday, August 3 at 5pm ET. The WICT Greater Philadelphia Scholarship Committee will review all applications and notify the winners by August 15.
The Scholarship includes:
•Registration fee (includes attendance at WICT Touchstones Luncheon) https://www.wict.org/programs/touchstonesluncheon/Pages/default.aspx
•$150 towards transportation costs

•Hotel room for 2 nights – Sunday 10/14 and Monday 10/15 at the Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, New York, NY 10036
NOTE: Recipient is responsible for meals not covered by the conference.
Scholarship eligibility requirements:
•Applicant must be a 2018 member of the WICT Greater Philadelphia Chapter
•Applicant has received manager's approval to participate in the program and is responsible for arranging the time off from work. Please note, WICT members in transition are also encouraged to apply.
•Applicant must have volunteered at and/or attended a WICT Philadelphia Chapter event within the past year.
The following factors are considered when selecting fellowship recipients. The applicant demonstrates:
•Thoughtful, clear and thorough responses.
•Financial need (company doesn't cover cost for attending the conference or is a member in transition).
•Clear goals that will be achieved by attending the event.
•Example(s) of previous active involvement in WICT.
