Dear GEM Mentee Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the 2023-24 GEM Program! Our Hamilton applications are still open! If you are located in Hamilton please apply!

This program will run from September 2023 to May 2024. It will include a mentorship relationship with an experienced professional and an extensive professional development curriculum. 

THINGS TO NOTE:
1. While we try to match Mentors and Mentees based on shared career interests, the GEM Team cannot guarantee that Mentees will be matched with a Mentor in their desired career field. The GEM Team will match all Mentees based on shared hobbies and personalities, even if a career match is not possible. 
2. To qualify as a GEM Mentee, you are required to live in the GTA or Hamilton and you must be enrolled in high school when the program begins in September 2023.
3. If you have already participated in the GEM program, you cannot apply again.

We carefully screen each application. Please ensure the information you provide is thorough and correct.

Recruitment Timeline
1. Application Period: October 2022 to June 30th 2023
2. Interview Period: April 2022 to June 16th, 2023
3. Successful Applicants Notified: Mid to Late June 2023
