Ojai Valley Community Wildfire Protection Plan - Public Feedback |
1. Welcome to our Public Outreach Survey
The Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council is developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) that aims to assist you, your neighbors, and the whole community in preventing, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from future wildfires.
This community-focused, community-driven plan will cover the Ojai Valley and the Ventura River watershed, including each of these areas:
· City of Ojai
· Greater Ojai Valley (East End)
· Upper Ojai
· Meiners Oaks
· Mira Monte
· Oak View
· Casitas Springs
· Foster Park
· Ojala
· Matilija Canyon
· North Fork Springs
· Rose Valley
· All unincorporated areas within the Planning Area
We want to hear about your experience and concerns regarding wildfires, as well as any helpful suggestions that we should consider for the plan. What you tell us will assist the Ojai Valley Fire Safe Council and other community partners to develop policies, programs, and services to meet your needs.
It will take you about 20 minutes to complete the survey. Only one survey is requested from your household. Participation is voluntary. All individual responses will be kept confidential. Final results of the survey will be included in the plan.
Your participation is key to developing a plan that will keep us safe and work for the whole community. Thank you for helping make the Ojai Valley more resilient!
