Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA)
here in the Mid-Hudson Region

Purpose:   To provide an opportunity for key NY State Agencies and Mid-Hudson Regional Utilities, Municipalities, Institutions, and Businesses to share information on their existing initiatives and future plans that will help promote the transition to a renewable energy economy, with storage and efficiency, and help achieve the goals of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) here in the Mid-Hudson Region.

Content:  The program will feature a panel of representatives from New York State Agencies, including NYS DEC, NYSERDA, NYPA, NYS PSC, NYISO, and the Governor’s Office; a panel of representatives from the Mid-Hudson Region utilities, including Central Hudson, ConEdison, NYSEG/RGG&G, and Orange & Rockland; and a panel of representatives showcasing various municipal, institutional, and commercial models.

The panels will provide valuable information to key stakeholders and interested community members  that will help accelerate the path to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 85% by 2050 and net zero emissions in all sectors of the economy, as codified in CLCPA.
