Radiation Protection of Medical Personnel |
Ever wondered whether there's any risk to you or your colleagues working in a facility that uses ionising radiation (from X-rays/CT, nuclear medicine etc.)?
We've developed some online educational material to explain the potential occupational risks for staff in medical facilities that utilise ionising radiation. These most commonly include premises with X-ray equipment, CT and nuclear medicine procedures. The goal is to ensure that staff are aware of the safety systems in place to assure occupational radiation safety, an understanding of basic radiation safety and how to follow up any concerns they may have.
We'd like your feedback on the draft module. What you have to say can make a difference.
To participate read through the materials provided and answer the survey questions. It is estimated that this will take approximately 27 minutes, or considerably less if you have little involvement with radiation. While ongoing feedback will be considered, responses by 19 July 2019 will be particularly appreciated.
