As we begin to prepare and explore potential options for the 2021-2022 school year, we have created an interest survey for parents of students in Rockbridge County Public Schools who may be interested in their child(ren) attending a 100% digital school next school year.  While the goal is to return to school five days a week, continued monitoring of COVID will be necessary to make an informed decision regarding the return to school. At this time, the digital school would be delivered synchronously with an anticipated schedule of 8:00AM to 4:00PM daily. This means your child would need to be physically present and online from 8:00AM-4:00PM with scheduled breaks.  Parents must be able to provide a self-supported learning environment with the exception of a computer in order for their child to participate in the digital academy.  RCPS will provide student Chromebooks.  In addition, this is a year long commitment for any learner registered in the digital academy. The results of this survey are for information only.  If you have more than one student please complete a separate survey for each child of interest. The survey is brief but important as we contemplate the design and implementation of this option.  Please answer the questions below.
