In order to effectively coordinate guidance and education efforts related to information technology initiatives, ASAP would like to create a list of appropriate IT staff contacts at your agencies, or key decision makers relative to use of Electronic Health Records.
As healthcare reform is implemented over the next four years, and as the deadline for providers to utilize electronic medical records approaches, it is imperative that guidance is available to help providers navigate this changing service delivery landscape that will increasingly focus on use of technology. ASAP's IT Committee, chaired by Carl Hatch from Loyola Recovery Foundation and Recovery Net, will be leading the way in providing guidance and educational opportunities.
