PRESENTATION AND INFORMED CONSENT (page 1 of 7)

We invite you to contribute to an investigation that aims at studying extensionists’ and advisors’ opinions in different countries. The study is conducted by researchers from the National Council of Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET, Argentina), and is supported by GFRAS (Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services). In Australasia and the Pacific region, it is conducted by researchers from AgResearch (NZ), and supported by the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN) and the New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management (NZIPIM)

When completing the questionnaire, please take into account that there are no correct or incorrect answers and that your opinion is what matters. In this regard, we thank you for not using books, the internet or colleagues in order to reply, because in that case we would be getting to know their opinion, and what we really want is to know yours. Keep in mind that it is very important to read the questions and requests carefully when replying. In our experience, participants complete the questionnaire in approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

If you have any doubts, you may contact Dr. James Turner from AgResearch (james.turner@agresearch.co.nz) or Dr. Fernando Landini from CONICET (landini_fer@hotmail.com)

Thank you for your help. Your participation in this questionnaire is really important to us.

In case you are interested in receiving the results of the research once we have finished the study, you will have the opportunity to provide your email at the end of the questionnaire.

Before starting the questionnaire, we need to know that you agree to the following informed consent: “I have read and understood the description above of the questionnaire to be answered and agree to participate and collaborate with the study. I understand that any and all information that I provide will remain confidential and that nobody (except the researchers) will have access to the content of my answers. I also consent to the publication of the results derived from my answers, with the knowledge that the anonymity of the participants is guaranteed at all moments. I am also aware of the fact that I am free to stop answering the questionnaire any time prior to completing it or sending it in”.
