Village Staff is working with the Hitchcock Design Group to prepare a grant application for improvements to Henry J. Paulus Park. A long talked about project that was identified in the 2011 Open Space Master Plan was an open-air amphitheater with a band-shell and stage for Paulus Park. Staff has identified the Open Space and Land Acquisition (OSALD) grant that would help fund this park improvement project if the Village receives it. This grant is a reimbursement program for up to 50% of project costs. The Village of Lake Zurich is interest in obtaining public input in regards to the improvements.
