Voices of Hope Recovery Scholarship 2023

The Voices of Hope scholarship is a $1,000 award for a student in recovery from substance use disorder (recovery is defined as a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential) who is currently enrolled at a trade school, college, or university.

Eligibility

1. Been in recovery for one or more years (see definition above).

2. Currently enrolled and completed at least an eight (8) week grading term in a trade school, college or university in Kentucky (eligible institutions will have a regularly scheduled curriculum, a regular faculty, and an enrolled body of students in attendance)

3. Good academic standing (minimum of 2.5 GPA)

4. Realistic plan to cover remaining education expenses

5. Available to accept award at Voices of Hope's Recovery Awareness Day Event on Saturday, September 23, 2023, and be featured in promotional materials related to the scholarship.

6. US citizen or resident alien.

7. We require you to upload a transcript from your school when applying. Please make sure you have this information before moving forward with the application.

 

All applications must be completed and submitted by June 15, 2023.
