Application for Distinguished Teachers and Leaders
Award Description (Due Jan. 31, 2023)
This award will be presented to school district or building leaders and teachers who have been instrumental in moving innovative and effective technology forward in his/her/their school or district. This individual is passionate about educational technology and has inspired effective initiatives that have fueled innovative change in his/her/their district.
Application Criteria
Applications should provide sufficient evidence and detail to demonstrate innovation in instructional technology and a shift in classroom practice fueled by technology.

Applications should provide sufficient evidence and detail to demonstrate innovation in instructional technology and a shift in classroom practice fueled by technology.
Supplemental digital materials may be submitted if they are aligned in support of the work described in the application and will contribute to the reviewers' understanding of the work. Examples of supplemental materials may include: websites, video/audio clips and data. Supplemental material should be cloud-based and set as "anyone with the link can view."
Award recipients must be available to attend the Celebration of Teaching and Learning TELL Award event on March 23 at the Edith Macy Conference Center in Briarcliff Manor, New York. This will be an evening dinner event (4pm-7pm) and will include a keynote speaker prior to the award ceremony, facilitated by LHRIC staff members. Recipients will be asked to assist LHRIC staff with a brief biography for the official program, and should plan on a short "acceptance speech" (between one and three minutes in length) during the ceremony.
