EMBL-EBI is a global leader in the storage, analysis and dissemination of large biological data. It collaborates with international partners to maintain key data resources, supported by public funding from EMBL member states and international charities. By making life science data openly accessible, it enables reuse and drives scientific discovery worldwide.

The aim of this study is to estimate and articulate the economic value and impact of EMBL-EBI's open data resources. Your views are important and your answers will help EMBL-EBI maintain its public resources for the life sciences.

The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete.
The survey closes on 24 July 2025.

Please ensure that all of your answers are about you as an individual user.
For questions that ask you to estimate time saved or other quantities a rough estimate is OK.

EMBL-EBI is a not-for-profit intergovernmental organisation that forms part of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL).
