Application for the 2020 Zhi-Xing China Fellowship |
The Zhi-Xing China Fellowship: U.S.—China University Student Leaders Academy is a three-week study trip to China that aims to inspire and build connections between the next generation of global leaders in the US and China. Jointly implemented by China Education Association for International Exchange and Asia Society, this Fellowship is a highlight of U.S-China People-to-People Exchange and is championed by the US Secretary of State and the Chinese counterpart.
Annually, we select up 50-60 outstanding student leaders, with equal representation from the US and China. Together, they will attend seminars, lectures, field visits, as well as work together on a final capstone project on their findings. These tailor-designed seminars and lectures offer diverse perspectives on China’s culture, history, society, innovation, and political and economic systems. A variety of carefully curated field visits provide interactive and hands-on opportunities for fellows to develop a deep understanding of China.
