Marijuana Business Daily, the oldest and most trusted producer of national trade shows and financial data for America's $4.5 billion, legal cannabis industry is seeking an entry level inside sales executive. This is a new position in our expanding sales department and is based in our Denver CO office with the ability to work from home approximately 8-10 hours per week. This is a salary + bonus position reporting directly to the National Sales Manager.

You will be responsible for selling our full range of B2B media offerings including:
  • trade show exhibit space
  • event sponsorship
  • print magazine ads
  • digital sponsorship including email blasts
Our market is booming, and is just getting its legs under it. Most target clients are in start-up or fast-growth mode. Most do not have sophisticated marketing or trade show expertise. You will be juggling many new accounts and leads, qualifying and educating prospects on a continual basis. This is a relationship sales position. 

You should have strong empathetic listening skills. You should also be:
  • Goal-driven on both a personal and team level. You want to do your best work and receive recognition for accomplishments, as well as help your teammates achieve the same.
  • Detail oriented with excellent planning, time management and follow-up skills.
  • Able and willing to take responsibility for clients' satisfaction and personal job performance.
  • Independent: You prefer to work largely independently without being micromanaged.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Available for travel to industry events several times per year
