The Second Annual Purple Star USA

We are excited to offer the 2023 Purple Star USA National Convening of Schools and Communities on October 26, National Day of the Deployed. What better time to shine the light on the needs of our military-connected youth and families.  Military- connected youth have unique experiences unlike their civilian peers such as separation from family during deployments, frequent relocations, and transitions to civilian life.  Find out how a Purple Star Awarded school helps improve the academic and socio-emotional experiences for military youth by inspiring resiliency and building a stronger tomorrow for all youth.


Workshop sessions are 60 minutes in duration.  We prefer content run 45 minutes with room for LIVE Q&A at the end. If you have questions about the conference or submitting a proposal please contact steve.cambron@ky.gov.
