This study seeks input on ways to enhance Novato, and specifically the neighborhood of Hamilton, by installing public art. Marin MOCA was awarded a 2018 Public Arts grant from the City of Novato for the installation of a mural at Hamilton. Residents have previously indicated that installing a mural on the water tower would enhance the neighborhood. This study seeks to gain opinions about which locations, in addition to the water tower, would be preferred and the preferred style of art. The local museum has hired a world-famous muralist to install the mural. The mural installation would begin during the summer of 2018.
