IBPA Publishing University Ignite Talk Submissions Survey
Thank you for registering for IBPA Publishing University 2022!
In this survey, we're gathering information from attendees interested in presenting an “Ignite talk” during the conference. An Ignite Talk is a speedy presentation where you get 20 slides that automatically advance every 15 seconds. The result is a fast and fun presentation which lasts just 5 minutes.
For a great example, watch former IBPA Board Chair Brooke Warner’s Ignite Talk on the theme of “Mistakes Were Made” at IBPA Publishing University 2018. For more examples, click here.
In the survey, we’ve listed two themes we’re looking to cover in 2022. The Ignite Talk will be held during the in-person portion of IBPA Publishing University conference in Orlando, Florida on April 30 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM Eastern. You will need to attend in-person and be available during this time to participate.
(In the event that the in-person conference is canceled, we will move the event to a virtual event, so you will only need to be available via Zoom on that date and time. BUT, we assume and are planning for this part of the conference to proceed in-person as planned.)

Those selected to present an Ignite Talk will be coached online prior to the conference to ensure a successful, comfortable experience. The coaching will include a 30-minute Zoom session over the next few weeks. At the end of the process, you'll have a new story to share with others about some aspect of your business.

The deadline for your submission is FRIDAY, MARCH 11 at 5:00 PM Pacific.

We’ll select the stories that best fit the two themes between March 11 and March 15, 2022. You may submit a pitch for one or both themes, but please limit your pitches to one paragraph each. We recommend writing your pitches in another program and then pasting them into this form so that your work is saved elsewhere.
