The MPSA organizes a series of sessions at the annual conference that discuss aspects of the academic profession. Each session will have 4-6 speakers. In March one of the speakers will be asked to also serve as chair. The chair will help divide the broader topics so each panelist can discuss a specific niche without worrying about overlap.
Panelists also will be asked to provide a brief bio and three items for an annotated bibliography on the topics.
There are no written papers and participation in a professional development session does NOT count against the limit of being on two sessions at the conference. The conference is hybrid, and roundtables may have virtual and in-person presenters. Virtual attendees may attend professional development roundtables, a d these sessions will be recorded for future release.

The MPSA has a wide range of committees that involve about 150 professional/faculty members. Please volunteer to serve on one; no one will be asked to serve on more than one committee.
