To celebrate Pega’s sponsorship of the 2020 Ryder Cup, we are challenging you to play in our Pega Golf Challenge. Create a golf-related app idea using Pega technologies for the chance to win exclusive merchandise from the most prestigious international competition in golf!
Tee off
Get ready to form your groups (solo players also welcome). Choose from any of the following submission categories and prepare for a challenging round.
Submission categories:
1. Diversity and inclusion in golf: Awarded to the application idea with the highest combined judging score that aims to promote opportunities for historically underrepresented individuals or communities to become more actively involved in golf.
2. Sustainability in golf: Awarded to the application idea with the highest combined judging score that focuses on improving the relationship between golf courses and the environment, in areas including water consumption, alternative energy, and supply chain management.
3. Fan engagement in golf: Awarded to the application idea with the highest combined judging score that allows fans attending golf tournaments/competitions to have more enjoyable and personalized experiences while on site.
4. Broadcast innovations in golf: Awarded to the application idea with the highest combined judging score that creates enhanced options for fans watching golf on television to interact with their favorite players from the comfort of their homes.

After selecting a submission category, propose an idea for a Pega application that can be explained in 5–10 PDF slides.

Our judging panel is looking for the following details to be covered in your slide deck:
● Introduction: What is the name of your app idea? Who are the team members involved in the app ideation process? What was your inspiration for this app idea?
● Problem: What is the problem you are trying to solve? How does your app idea help to solve this problem?
● Features/functionalities: What does your app idea do? What are the features/functionalities that make your app idea unique?
● How does Pega help?: What are the Pega technologies that you would propose using in order to deliver a minimum lovable product?
● What’s next?: What are your ultimate goals/ambitions for this app idea?
Putting for glory
Each of the four winning teams (or individuals) will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Pega Express team to take their app from idea to minimum lovable product!

Winners will be showcased on the Pega Community Blog and receive one-of-a-kind Pega and Ryder Cup merchandise that you can't find anywhere else!
