Introduction

Woodley Town Council is reviewing options for the redevelopment and refurbishment of Woodford Park Leisure Centre over the next 3 to 5 years.

The Leisure Centre, which is owned and operated by the Town Council, is an exceptionally important facility, offering subsidised leisure services for all residents. Originally constructed in 1964, it has been developed and adapted over the years, however the building is now aging and requires significant updates and improvement.

The Council wants to hear from both users and non-users of the centre to help feed into our review and to shape the leisure centre’s future.

The scope of the review covers all facilities provided at the leisure centre, including the external tennis court, paddling pool, 3G pitch and grass pitches. The review does not cover the bowling green, which is leased by Woodley Bowling Club, the playground adjacent to the paddling pool, nor the wider Woodford Park area.

This survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete, and we thank you in advance for your time.
