About the Program

Thank you for your interest in the Mental Health Supports Program with Moyo HCS. Here is a brief overview of the project and the Mental Health Consultant you will be working with.

This project provides access up to 6 sessions with a registered mental health professional virtually. The project is intended for Black, Indigenous, People of Color and 2SLGBTQ+ communities. 

Program Eligibility 

1) Identify as a Black, Indigenous, Person of Color AND/OR a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities
2) Be 18 years of age or over
3) Identify one or more issues related to your emotional or mental health

Mooky Cherian is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) who has been in private practice since 2014 with a focus on men and developmental trauma. Previously, Mooky worked in the field of prisoners' justice and harm reduction for 15 years, first as a front-line worker in numerous Ontario correctional institutions and later as a program manager for PASAN. His work is influenced by psychodynamic, narrative, trauma-informed, existential and self-determination principles. Mooky is also an avid meditator, a dedicated Spanish student and a lover of cat videos.
