Relax. This application should be fun, not stressful. It’s about you, your work, and your passion to inspire others. You and the application don’t need to be polished. We’re looking for 8-10 people who represent a range of communities, experiences, ages, and backgrounds. A little speaking experience helps, but is not required. We provide training and personal coaching.

Most of the application asks for straightforward information about you and your weaving. We have three questions that might involve some reflection on your part.
  • What community are you weaving?
  • How are you weaving together your community?
  • What caused you to become a weaver?
The first two questions you will write out (no more than 300 words for each) and put in this form. The final question we ask you to answer in a short video (2-3 minutes) that you record looking into your camera, so we get a feel for how you tell a story. You should do that before you submit this form. It’s all informal and the whole process can be as short as 30 minutes.
