Learning Objectives:
1) Understand the challenge to a busy caregiver providing comprehensive care in the home setting in which a major portion is the respiratory therapy management plan
2) Understand the limitations of current caregiver education and the value of precise knowledge of respiratory medications and devices and their use
3) Understand the value of an organized educational instrument such as the Skills Validation protocol and the potential for increased patient stability with its use
4) Understand how the Skills Validation protocol can be tailored to enhance caregiver education regarding any type of clinical management plan
