The Public Safety Education section of the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management (OFMEM) is offering a one-day training session for fire department representatives and municipal communications experts called “What’s Trending: Making Social Media Work for Public Fire Safety Education.”  
 
When:  April 11, 2017; 8am to 4pm
Where: Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex, 25 Morton Shulman Avenue, Toronto, ON (Hwy 401 and Keele St.)
Cost:   Registration is free. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Attendees will be required to pay for parking.

The OFMEM encourages fire department representatives to bring your municipal communications colleagues to enhance a collaborative approach to social media in your municipality.

Brian Lambie, President of Redbrick Communications, is a communications expert with extensive experience providing social media and media advice and training to municipalities across Ontario. With the OFMEM, Brian will lead this interactive, one-day session. Highlights will include:
