Beyond Colonial Constraints: Cuir Feminist Praxis as Rupture and Healing across the Archipelago | 2025 NWSA Pre-Conference

Thank you for your interest in "Beyond Colonial Constraints: Cuir Feminist Praxis as Rupture and Healing across the Archipelago" a Pre-Conference at the National Women's Studies Association's 45th Annual Conference. This day-long Pre-Conference will be held on November 13th, the first day of the Annual Conference. This Pre-Conference is sponsored and organized by the Puerto Rican Feminisms Interest Group.

Due to the interactive nature of this event, participation is limited, and selection will be based on applicants' alignment with the event’s goals and objectives. Please note, portions of this pre-conference will be conducted in Spanish.

10.This 45th NWSA Pre-Conference is curated by the NWSA Puerto Rican Feminisms Interest Group and jointly hosted by our colleagues anchored at the University of Puerto Rico. Attendees can therefore expect to engage in sessions held on campus at the University of Puerto Rico.

Accepted attendees will work with our Pre-Conference facilitators on coordinating transportation from our Annual Conference venue, the Puerto Rico Convention Center, prior to the start of our convening.
