2017 HR Florida State Council President's Award

The HR Florida District Directors are pleased to announce the creation of a brand new award that will be presented to a 2017 HR Florida State Council Chapter President at the upcoming January 6, 2018 Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL.   The award will recognize one exemplary Chapter President who has significantly impacted the performance of their chapter by leading with a combination of compassion, creativity and innovation. Eligibility

To be nominated, you must be a president of one of HR Florida’s 28 local SHRM affiliate chapters and be a member in good standing with SHRM.  

Guidelines
  • Entries must be received no later than November 1, 2017.  Only 2017 Chapter Board Presidents may be nominated.Nominations may only be submitted by a 2017 Chapter Board Member, President-Elect or District Director. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
  • Incomplete entries may be disqualified at the discretion of the selection committee.
  • At the discretion of the selection committee, an award winner may not be chosen.
The selection committee will be comprised of the following:
  • Council President;
  • Council President Elect;  
  • Council Awards Director;
  • (2) additional council members who are not affiliated with a nominated Chapter (these two individuals will be chosen by the Council Awards Director)

Describe how the chapter president engaged the community; has been community-minded by donating time, talent, and/or financial contributions to local charitable causes.
