Poster Guidelines
Topics: Any topic inclusive of academic and healthcare research related to drowning and drowning prevention will be considered for this conference. Special areas of interest include, but are not limit to: Advocacy, Care Management, Clinical Innovation, Community Behavior Modification, Community Intervention & Support,  Education and Training, Technology

Poster Format: The size of the poster should not exceed 36” in height and 48” in width.

Audience: The audience will consist of a range of academic, industry, non-profit and healthcare professionals working together to prevent drowning. Also, included will be family members who have suffered loss as a result of drowning. 

Prizes and Expense Reimbursement: Posters will be reviewed by a panel of judges and cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the competition for a total of $500, $300, and $200 respectively, along with a one-year membership to NDPA (courtesy of NDPA). Prizes will be split between multiple authors of a single winning poster. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed. 

Submission Deadline:  Abstracts will be approved on a rolling basis.  Final deadline is February 1, 2019.
