International Organization for Migration (IOM) in close collaboration with the various government agencies in Zanzibar and Tanzania Mainland is in the process of developing a Migration Profile for Tanzania.
The Migration Profile is intended to be a tool for efficient migration management and enhance the public and stakeholders’ knowledge about migration and how it can impact development. It will present policy recommendations that will allow the government of Tanzania to effectively integrate human mobility into national development plans and poverty reduction strategies.
Development Pioneer Consultants (DPC) is the consulting firm contracted to implement the task of drafting the Migration Profile for Tanzania.
The migration profile is a consultative process to suit the needs of the stakeholders in terms of content and usage.
