Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Guidelines

  • For CAP (in-person) Attendees: Sign the CPE Attendance Verification Grid provided by the Facilitator indicating your member number, name, start/end times and your individual report score.
  •  FOR CAW (live webinar) Attendees: Respond to all polling questions that appear throughout the broadcast session. At the end of the discussion inform your Facilitator of your individual report score noted on your Strength and Weaknesses Worksheet.
  • For all CAP/CAW Attendees: Participate in the group discussion with the intent to follow the reasoning and the data provided and come to the same theoretical and mathematical conclusions as the preparer.
  • For all CAP/CAW Attendees: Complete and submit the Online CAR Report documenting at least two (2) key strengths
    and two (2) key weaknesses, citing authoritative support. If applicable or available, add two (2) or more suggestions for
    correcting and/or improving the report. The Online CAR reports will be duplicated, the submitter’s name removed, and sent
    to the report author. To verify your form was submitted and received by NACVA HQ, please call NACVA’s Recertification
    Coordinator at (800) 677-2009.
  • Attendees at NACVA State Chapter Events: All attendees must comply with the above stated CAP/CAW CPE Guidelines. Indicate with your State Chapter registration whether or not you intend to earn Recommended CPE Bonus Points. Additional fees may apply.

Individuals who do not complete and submit an Online CAR report will not receive CPE or NACVA Recertification credit.

CPE Certificate(s): You will be able to access and print your CPE Certificate(s) 7 to 10 business days after the event by logging into the Member/Designee Portal on NACVA.com using your e-mail address and password.
