Sponsored by the West Virginia Olmstead Council

The West Virginia Olmstead Council wants all people with disabilities to have opportunities to live, work and socialize in their communities as other people do. The Council's work is based on a 1999 U.S. Supreme Court decision that supports the right of people with disabilities to live in the most integrated setting.

The Council is reviewing and updating the goals and activities in the Olmstead Plan. We want your input! How well is the service system working for people with disabilities? What are your ideas about how to make it better?

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey. The deadline for responses is December 1st. For more information about the Olmstead Council, contact Vanessa VanGilder, Olmstead Coordinator, Vanessa.K.VanGilder@wv.gov.
