Concurrent Session Proposal Form

In describing your concurrent session, please consider the mission of the Ohio Deans Compact: to improve the capacity of Ohio teacher education, administrator, and related services personnel preparation programs to better prepare professional educators to effectively teach and support every child by (a) increasing the level of collaborative inquiry among Ohio’s institutions of higher education (IHE) so as to foster improvement in the preparation and ongoing professional development of educators skilled in meeting the instructional needs of all children, and (b) providing a channel for direct exchanges between state officials (i.e., Ohio Department of Education, Ohio Department of Higher Education) and higher education preparation programs; and among representatives of PK12 systems, and others (e.g., professional associations) in Ohio related to issues affecting the education of children and youth with disabilities, and children at-risk of being inappropriately identified as disabled.

Proposals are due by December 6, 2019. Lead presenters will be notified of proposal acceptance by December 20, 2019.

Presentations may not be used to sell or promote products or services.
