Call for Presentations: 2024 OEDA Annual Summit

OEDA invites you to submit a proposal to make a presentation at the 2024 OEDA Annual Summit, which will be held September 4 - 6, 2024 at the Glass City Center in Toledo, Ohio.

The 2024 OEDA Summit -- themed Unleashing Ohio's Innovation Economy in Your Community --- will explore how the innovation economy applies to the practice of economic development.

This is your opportunity to highlight innovation in business retention and expansion, business attraction, infrastructure, small business & entrepreneurship, human capital, workforce and talent, financial capital, and sustainability.

The Deadline to Submit Proposals is June 15, 2024.

Guidelines for submissions:

1. The Call for Presentations Form must be completed in its entirety and submitted by June 15, 2024.
2. Sessions are in 45-minute increments. Presenters are encouraged to keep the prepared content to 35 minutes to allow 10 minutes for audience questions following their presentation.
3. Annual Summit proposals should not be submitted unless each presenter is available to appear on any day of the conference, September 4 - 6, 2024.
4. Submission of a presentation does not guarantee participation in the program. Submissions will be reviewed by the Annual Summit Planning Committee and those who submitted will be informed of the committee’s decision by mid-July, 2024
5. OEDA may partially accept or modify a proposal. Similar proposals may be combined into a single session and may include additional panelists.
6. Accepted proposals may not be assigned a specific speaking date and time until August, 2024.
7. OEDA reserves the right to use conference photos and videos in its communication and marketing activities.
