To learn about students with special educational needs (SEN) and gather suggestions for how their education can be improved, the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is supporting local educators with the implementation of an online survey. While students with SEN have disabilities or impairments that may impact their ability to see, hear, walk, talk, learn, behave, and live independently, they also possess many wonderful strengths, interests and talents. In fact, students with SEN share far more commonalities than differences with other students, including their common desires to learn, make friends, and participate in school activities. The online survey is open to the public and only takes a few minutes to complete. Community Members, Secondary Students, Students with SEN, Parents of School-Aged Children, Parents and Family Members of Children with SEN, Educators and Healthcare Professionals and interested citizens are invited to share information about the education of students with SEN and offer suggestions for improving Special Education. The survey is anonymous: you will not be identified and the survey information will be kept confidential and used for the sole purpose of planning improvements to Special Education. Please take this opportunity to share your insights and ideas for the benefit of all students with SEN. Thank you!
