Background

Hello, and thank you for your interest in this important survey on an osteoarthritis information tool for patients.

An Osteoarthritis (OA) Tool for family physicians was recently launched in Canada. Developed by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Centre for Effective Practice, in partnership with the Arthritis Alliance of Canada (AAC), the OA Tool helps family physicians work with patients who have suspected, new or established OA of the hands, knees and/or hips. Now, a working group of the AAC, made up of patient-led or patient-focused organizations and clinical and scientific experts in OA, are developing a patient version of the tool to assist patients in having better conversations with their doctor or other health care professional(s) by informing them about the care they can expect to receive.

By completing this survey, you will help us learn what key pieces of information from the OA Tool for family physicians should also be included in the OA Information Tool for Patients

Thank you for your time to help inform the development of a new and valuable information and education resource for people experiencing early or established hand, knee and/or hip OA. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All questions require an answer. To ensure your privacy, your participation will be anonymous and the results will be pooled for analysis.
