The Outside 285 Master Plan is a regional trail planning project. The planning team is currently looking for suitable locations for non-motorized recreation trail improvements within the public lands surrounding the US-285 corridor southwest of Denver. Potential trail projects could include new trails, linkages between existing trails, trail reroutes, trail maintenance, and trailhead and parking improvements. Public lands in the Outside 285 region are seeing increasing visitation and there is a pressing need to plan for future use and habitat conservation.

To learn more about the planning effort, watch a brief presentation here and to view maps of the Outside 285 study area, please visit the project website

We are grateful for your participation and input.
