The Center for Court Innovation wants to learn about the assets and needs of tribal courts. We are focusing on client assessment tools and information systems and technology. We have two goals with this survey. First, we want to work with tribes to create a culturally appropriate client assessment tool. Second, we want to work with tribes to create solutions for tracking criminal justice data and aiding communication between agencies. This survey is the first step towards these goals.

The best person to fill in this survey is someone who knows about assessment and data collection in your agency. Please forward the link to this survey to others who you think should complete it. For an electronic copy of the survey, email tribaljustice@courtinnovation.org.

The survey will take about 40 minutes to complete. Your individual responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside the research team. All survey results will be shared in aggregate in a summary report and no tribes will be identified.

We greatly appreciate you taking the time to fill out this survey. Your participation is voluntary, and you may stop at any time. We will share a summary report of this survey and other opportunities with you, if you share your email address at the end of the survey. This study is supported by a grant from the National Institute of Justice at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Thank you for your time!
