The Village of Tupper Lake is advancing two projects funded through the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP): the Cliff Avenue Enhancements, which will strengthen the connection between Park Street and Waterfront Park, and improvements at Tupper Lake Waterfront Park, including grandstand area enhancements and a new fishing pier on Raquette Pond.

LaBella Associates has completed schematic, or early-concept, designs for both projects, and the Village is now seeking community input before the designs are advanced further. Renderings of the current designs are included on the following pages. The improvements are planned in phases:
  • Phase I – Cliff Avenue Enhancements and Waterfront Park Improvements Phase I (including the fishing pier) will be designed and constructed with current funding.
  • Future Phase – Waterfront Park Improvements Phase II, including a new Recreation Center, accessible pathways and court reconfiguration will be designed now so the Village is ready to pursue construction funding. Input collected now will help the Village set priorities for future grant applications.
Your feedback will help guide design decisions and ensure the final projects reflect the priorities of Tupper Lake residents and visitors.
The survey is open through November 8, 2026.

Please return completed hard copies to the Village Office.
