Speaker Application Guidelines:
  • Presentations should focus on one of the following topic areas: leadership, construction, DEI, workplace and team-building, health and safety, or another relevant topics for women in construction. Marketing and/or sales presentations will not be accepted.
  • Speaker sessions are intended to be 40-45 minutes in length.
  • Applications are due by April 1, 2025.
  • Selected speakers will be notified in late April. The CAWIC Conference Planning Committee will review each submitted proposal and respond to applicants whether their workshop has been selected or declined. Workshop proposals are reviewed and selected based on relevance to the conference audience and theme, presenter knowledge, and overall purpose.
  • If you are selected to be a presenter, CAWIC will provide complimentary attendance to the Day 1 and Day 2 conference speaker sessions. Should you wish to participate in additional conference activities, including the Gala Dinner, please kindly register and complete the required payment process on www.cawic.ca/conference. Speakers are responsible for their own travel, hotel, and other expenses.
