Baby Sign Language Class Registration - 2018/2019

We are pleased you are interested in learning baby sign language with your son or daughter. Signing with babies accelerates language acquisition, reduces frustration, enhances a child's self esteem, and deepens the bond between parent and child.

SOME DETAILS ABOUT THE BEGINNERS CLASS:
- This is a beginner class using American Sign Language (ASL).
- Classes are 45 min on Saturdays for 4 weeks.
- The cost is $50 for all 4 weeks.
- Ideally, your baby should be between 3-6 months to start learning signs. Preferably, 12 months would be the oldest.
- Maximum 10 babies in a class. They should definitely attend the class with you. Don’t worry if they sleep through it....we're teaching parents how to teach their children.
- One or two parents are welcome to attend.

Location is at Nanaimo Innovation Academy—905 Hecate Street

SIGN UP INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Complete the online form. It will take about 5 minutes to complete.
2. To secure your spot, please pay the $50 fee. This can be done by email transfer to nanaimoinnovation@gmail.com or by cash or cheque (payable to Nanaimo Innovation Academy Foundation).

Once a class fills, we will start a waitlist.
