You are being invited to take part in a research study titled "Economic Impact of Backcountry Skiing in the Manti-La Sal National Forest." The person in charge of this study is Dr. James N. Maples, an Associate Professor of Sociology at Eastern Kentucky University. His email is Dr. Michael Bradley (Arkansas Tech University) will also be assisting during the study. To the best of our knowledge, the things you will be doing have no more risk of harm than you would experience in everyday life. If you do decide to take part in the study, you can stop at any time. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before, during, or after the survey.
