Over the past seven months, Northeast Michigan Council of Governments (NEMCOG) and the Northeast Michigan (Region 3) Collaborative Development Council have been working on drafting the 2026-2030 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the eight counties in Northeast Michigan: Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego, and Presque Isle counties.
We have completed the draft CEDS document, and it has been released for the mandatory 30-day public comment period until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
