1. Customer Feedback on Conservation Planning

The purpose of this survey is to obtain feedback on ways to strengthen the delivery of conservation planning assistance to landowners.  This survey asks respondents to identify aspects of the planning process they value, those aspects in which the partnership is doing a good job, and as important, those aspects that need improvement.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service's (NRCS) web site states that a conservation plan is a type of roadmap that identifies a producer's natural resource concerns on land units, suggests various actions, records a producer's decisions, and provides supporting information.  As a complex and dynamic written document, the plan can provide a blueprint for implementing practices and activities, address environmental regulations, and gain approval for participation in local, state, and Federal agricultural programs.  Many of you are already well versed in the conservation planning process.  For those of you who are not experts, and would like more information, please click on the following link to go to NRCS's web site.  This site further defines conservation planning elements, how the process works, and the 11 stages of the planning process.  Click Here
