NCICLE is seeking to anchor the NCICLE Pathways to Excellence document into the clinical learning environments by providing tools and resources that focus on how users can operationalize the pathways and properties.  Recognizing a stepwise approach is needed, the collaborative has decided to prioritize the work by focus area starting with Teaming as the focus for 2023.

April 20, 2023 marks the start of the “NCICLE Teaming Resources Challenge”—an effort to gather a wide array of Teaming resources in a concentrated period of time (late April through August 2023).

Specifically, NCICLE is asking each of its 41 member organizations to review the pathways and properties in the Teaming area of the NCICLE Pathways to Excellence document and identify or develop at least one resource to share with the collective. These pathways and properties may be accessed on pages 15-16 of the NCICLE Pathways to Excellence document.

This challenge is designed to be both informative, meaningful, useful, and fun!  It is a celebration of ideas and a way to pull NCICLE together that can capitalize on its heterogeneity. As such, no resource should be viewed as “too small”. The goal is for every organization to contribute something. Doing so will result in 40+ tools and resources that can subsequently be shared and celebrated at an in-person gathering adjacent to the Fall NCICLE business meeting (in addition to being placed on the NCICLE website).  ACGME will host the event on October 17-18 at the ACGME offices in Chicago. Details to follow in the weeks ahead.

In the meantime, here are the general guidelines of the challenge. Please utilize this form to submit one or more resources by August 31,2023.

Guidelines:
  • Each organization contributes at least one resource (multiple submissions welcome but not required).
  • The resource must directly link to one of the Teaming pathways or properties.
