The NCCHC Scholarship program was launched in 2020 with funds raised by the NCCHC Foundation. This year, we plan to offer up to 6 scholarships for the NCCHC National Conference on Correctional Health Care. The conference takes place October 22-26, 2022, in Las Vegas.
Eligibility:
1. Students in the fields of medicine, nursing or pharmacology (with a demonstrated interest in behavioral health), psychology, psychiatry, social work, substance use disorders, and criminal justice/corrections
2. Individuals working in correctional health care or correctional security with less than three years of correctional experience
3. Have never attended an in-person NCCHC conference.
Scholarship awards will be decided by the Foundation Board of Directors.
