Welcome

Introduction

In July 2022, the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, Inc. (NABCEP®) assembled a group of experts to identify the necessary knowledge and skills to perform tasks associated with battery storage installation, maintenance, and/or operation. The results of this process, known as a job task analysis, are being used to develop a new certification program regarding electrochemical energy storage. We are requesting your feedback to help ensure that this new examination is grounded in the work of energy storage professionals.

The panel identified five broad domains of practice and 35 tasks that were considered essential to the practice of battery storage installation, maintenance, and/or operation.

In this survey you are being asked to provide your input on the domains and core tasks of practice. The survey should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

We greatly appreciate your participation in this survey. All responses will be kept confidential, and your individual responses will not be released; only aggregated responses will be provided to NABCEP.

You will not need to complete the survey in one sitting and can return multiple times.  Your responses are saved whenever you advance in the survey.
