Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law Review

Welcome to the survey for the Town of Florenceville-Bristol’s Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law review. A Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law work together to create policies that determine what form of development should go where and to develop short- and long-term goals that help to guide the Council’s decision-making.

The Town of Florenceville-Bristol has engaged the planning expertise of WSP Canada to conduct a review of the existing Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law. We would appreciate your input to create an inclusive document for the Town to follow as a vision for its growth.

The survey questions have been organized by theme: general, housing, transportation, business and economic growth, environmental sustainability, and parks and public spaces. This survey should take you approximately 12 minutes to complete.

Thank you for playing an active role in the forging of our Town’s future.

Please note: The Town will take your comments and concerns into consideration throughout the Review process and will balance them with the Community Planning Act. As a result, it is possible that not every request will be reflected in the final amendments to the Municipal Plan and Zoning By-law. The outcomes of the review will be presented at a public presentation which shall occur during winter 2020.
