Thank you for your interest in applying for a Funding the Future grant from Continental Resources! As the largest private, independent oil and gas producer in the world, education has always been a cornerstone of our philanthropic efforts, with Funding the Future serving as a prime example of our ongoing commitment to the communities where we operate and where our employees live. This grant is focused on supporting programs and initiatives in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and reading.
Funding the Future grants are available to K-12 teachers whose schools are located within Continental Resources’ operating areas including Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. Since 2013, this program has benefitted more than 200 schools in the communities where we live and work.
Past recipients have used Funding the Future grants on state-of-the-art science labs, robotics kits, school gardens and math and reading skills programs. Such programs nurture our students with the educational resources they need to grow into the future leaders of our nation. This grant is meant to augment existing programs or help create new ones that foster learning in key areas of reading, science, math, technology or engineering. Due to the nature of the funding, we will not be awarding grants for training, travel, personal computing devices, or the purchase of classroom equipment such as laptops, Chromebooks or iPads.
